21 Days - No Complaints

21 days. No complaints. What I learned surprised me.

I just completed a 21-day challenge of not complaining, gossiping, or criticizing. It took me five months of resets to finally make it, but the impact has been huge. The practice helped me reduce barriers to gratitude and shifted how I show up with presence and warmth. My favorite part? Inspiring my 6- and 8-year-old kids to take on their own 2-day mini-challenge (yes, ice cream was involved).
I found it through Heroic, but the idea comes from Will Bowen’s book A Complaint Free World. The challenge began with a simple bracelet you switch wrists each time you complain, resetting the clock to Day 1. Millions have tried it since—and I can see why.

Small things add up. This one reminded me how powerful daily habits can be. Have you ever tried a challenge like this—or found a small practice that made a big difference?
